PrintYourTree is run by Vibe Pocket, LLC, Delaware, USA. This page explains what we collect and why.

Your family tree file

Your GEDCOM file is opened by your own browser. It is not uploaded to our servers. While you design, the file stays on your device.

When you order

To print your poster or make your PDF we store the chart you designed: the names, years and, if you chose to show them, birthplaces of the people on the poster, plus your style settings. We keep it so we can reprint a damaged poster and answer questions about your order.

Payments are handled by Stripe. We receive your name, email, shipping address and the payment result, never your card number. Our print partner receives the print file and your shipping address to make and deliver the poster.

Analytics

We count anonymous events such as page visits and whether a file opened, with the country your request came from. We do not record names, file names or tree contents in analytics, and we do not use advertising cookies.

Your choices

Email [email protected] to get a copy of your order data or to have it deleted once your order is complete. Dates of living people are hidden by default in the poster maker.
